For Bailey Mosley, Mass Communications graduate from USFSP, whatever the question is, beer is always the answer. Working at Big Storm Brewery has been an experience of a lifetime for the beer connoisseur.
As the Regional Sales Manager for the Tampa location of Big Storm Brewery, Mosley is responsible for getting their product on the shelves of new, old, and potential clients.
“To me the title of Regional Sales Manager sounds a lot less impressive than it is,” said Mosley. “I am responsible for everything from Apollo Beach to Tampa."
Part of her job is traveling to and from all of their client locations covering the distribution for Pepin Distributing Company, who is responsible for Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Corona, etc.
One of her favorite parts of her job is meeting new people and being able to maintain relationships with everyone she meets.
“It’s a great way for me to meet a lot of people, use old marketing tactics and create new ones to get my beer into the desired place. I have been able to create a really good relationship with different managers from accounts all over Tampa and make great deals with them,” said Mosley.
When Mosley was first hired almost a year ago, there were two other employees helping out in her position, now it is just her. She sees the good and the bad of the company but loves every part of it.
“It’s a really big area. When I got hired there was three of us doing south Tampa and now it’s just me doing all of Pepin which makes it hard to make the relationships, which is my favorite part of my job. So, my least favorite part is being the only one covering so much area. That and late-night emails,” said Mosley.
There is never a dull moment for Mosley while at work. Being around beer constantly is so much fun for her. Mosley is such a people person and is never afraid to take on any social situation, large or small.
Free beer is also an awesome perk, even when your drowning in it.
Whether she’s travelling 15 minutes from her house or an hour and 15 minutes from her house, Mosley is always excited to make the connection with new and old consumers.
